Determining your Skin Undertones

It can be difficult picking the correct shade of Foundation/Concealer/Powder for your skin, so let’s break it down and make it easy.

Firstly are you Light, Medium or Dark?

Next, figure out your skins undertones as to whether you are cool toned (pink) warm toned (yellow) or are you a mixture of both (neutral).

First , place a sheet of white paper under your wrist and look at the veins on your skin.

Are they green, blue, or purple/difficult to tell?

What jewellery looks best on you? Does Gold look more flattering or Silver? If Gold then you have warm/yellow tones and if Silver you have cool/pink tones.

If both Gold and Silver look good on you then you are probably neutral toned.

Now, how do you react out in the sun?

Do you burn, tan or burn a bit then tan? If you tan easily you are likely warm toned and if you burn then you are probably cool toned. If you burn a little then tan, you are probably neutral.

So now you should have a good idea as to whether you are warm toned, cool toned or both together (neutral) and whether you have a light, medium or dark skin complexion. Find the right shade of Touch Foundations, Concealer and Powder below and compare with the shades shown on the women wearing that shade....
