I do love our Splurge cream shadows. I have tried cream shadows in the past, but used to find that it would all settle into a line in my crease and there would be nothing left on the lid! I was assured that our Splurge was different and happily used my first one ever which was Tenacious that came in my Kit, I was instantly hooked! It dries to a powder finish so you can blend it with other shades of Splurge or powder shadow or pigments once it's dried. It does not crease, smudge or smear so it's always been one of my top 5 favourite products we have. I decided to set myself a challenge to see just how versatile they are by using lots to create on look....

I used 7 in total..... Amused to counteract the redness of my spots and a couple of broken capillaries, the green really cancels out the redness so with some colour correction and concealer over the top, those spots are banished. I used Grateful as a transition colour just above my crease. This is a gorgeous light brown so using this shade created a gradient from my lid colour so it fades upwards. Faithful is a darker brown that I used on my lids and then once that was dry, I added Proud, a rich dark chocolate shade in the Outer V. I used Bittersweet, that pretty peachy shade in the inner corners of my eyes and a dot in the centre of my lid. This peach shade is also brilliant for colour correcting dark undereye circles.....just paint into the dark circle, leave it dry and apply concealer over the top. I used Victorious under my brow as a highlight, it is a matte beige colour which has a really nice undertone to it. It can also be used as a Primer and I know some of my Y-Sisters have used it just underneath their eyes too. Finally, I used Magnificent, the matte black shade as a liner along my upper lash line. I used an angled eyeliner brush to gently sweep it along and then extended it slightly to make a very small wing. Wings and me don't go together well, no matter how many times I do it on myself it always goes wrong! Other people...fine but my own eyes? Not good, I'm getting slightly better with practice and find using this as an eyeliner is easier for me than the pen or paintbrush type liners. Check out our Splurge colours here.....
